Biography
Angela Centola guitarist and composer, graduated with honors in guitar under the direction of Professor G. Margaria at the Alexandria Conservatory after two years of training at the Institute. She obtained a DESS with honors in classical guitar at the Novara Conservatory, with Professor M. dell'Ara, specializing in nineteenth-century music. She assisted proffessors such as O. Herrero and Granados and Mr. Livio Gianola. At the Civic School of Music in Milan, she completed a two-year specialization with Professor Aldo Minella. In France, she improves with the teachers Marc and Eric Francerie obtaining a diploma of merit and played in several French cities.
Angela performs as a soloist as well as in various chamber ensembles. She plays in duet with the cellist Francesca Ruffilli and with the guitarist Roberto Margaritella.
She has collaborated with internationally renowned musicians such as Juan Lorenzo and Vito Nicola Paradiso, who wrote for her the composition "Mare nostrum". Angela works with actress Silvia Poletti.
She teaches guitar and chamber music at the School of Music "P. Gobetti "Omegna (VB) Italy.
She won first prize at the following national and international competitions: Asti, Genoa, Varenna, Viareggio, Nova Milanese, Acqui Terme, Certificate of Merit at the T.I.M Milan International Music Competition.
Angela Centola was the first woman in Italy to obtain, with honors, the Level II University Diploma in Flamenco Guitar at the Conservatory "G. Briccialdi" in Terni.
She played live on Radio Vatican in 2005, 2015, 2016 and 2019.

In 2013, on the anniversary of the birth of the composer Mauro Giuliani, she obtain a prize for her guitar career "for the important musical realization which valorizes the composition of the famous Mauro Giuliani".
In 2018 she composed "Quattro brani per chitarra" and in 2019 "Luna nera" four songs for two guitars, Sinfonica Editions. The monograph is presented to Vatican Radio in the transmission "L'Arpeggio" by Luigi Picardi in June of the same year. Also on Vatican Radio the CD "Flamenco live in the Vatican" with its interview is broadcast.
In 2019 she composed for two guitars the songs "Vals senza nome", "Soleà antigua", "Soft drink" and "Guardando te", which will be published next Sinfonica.
She plays with guitars built by luthiers Luciano Maggi, Pepe Toldo and Maurizio Ghelli Santuliana. Her endorsers are SAVAREZ , Salvador Cortez guitars flamenco line and Schertler.
