FESTIVAL INTERNATIONAL GUITARE EN ALPES

SAVAREZ is a partner of the first international Guitare en Alpes festival which will take place from May 3 to 5 in Aix les Bains, Chambéry and Saint-Jeoire-Prieuré.
At the initiative of Jérémy Jouve, Savarez emeritus guitarist, this festival celebrates the creation where the guitar is in dialogue with all instruments and influences.
Guitare en Alpes aims to offer the residents of the Alpine country a series of socio-cultural actions from September to June, with a high point during the school year in May at the time of the International Festival; and this while bringing the cultural, educational, social and economic spheres into play.
The socio-cultural actions are as follows:
School projects: projects that can cover the entire school year or be more specific, will also be proposed to educational structures ranging from nurseries to universities on themes related to culture and music in general and to the guitar in particular ("Classical Guitar versus Flamenco Guitar", "Setting up a cultural project", "Music professions").
The general and professional classes of the Lycée Marlioz d'Aix-les-Bains will benefit from an educational project around the guitar in Ghislaine Beolet's Spanish class and will benefit from the intervention of Jérémy Jouve, Mathias Duplessy and Elsa Vautrain, 200 young people will be reached.
Master Class and Workshops / Artistic discovery and collective practice: proposed by the artists invited as part of the festival to structures such as the conservatories and music schools of Savoie Mont Blanc.
The guitar classes of Chambéry and Aix-les-Bains will benefit from an introduction to flamenco by Mathias Duplessy in the framework of master classes and workshops during the school year.
The guitar ensemble classes of the conservatories of Chambéry and Aix-les-Bains will discover the repertoire of Spanish music and create a work for guitar ensemble by Mathias Duplessy.
Interventions in retirement homes and hospitals: students who have benefited from the master classes and workshops will give concerts in partner retirement homes.
"Young Talents" Tremplin stage: young talents will be highlighted as part of the festival's programming and will be able to benefit from a tremplin stage at the CHS de Savoie.
